RECRUITING:
The next open house will be at
10 am at drill on Saturday, May 4th onboard the
USS Little Rock. Bring a
friend. Please call me
if you are bringing someone and let’s earn some recruiting ribbons.
You are my best recruiters, so please talk up
this program and invite some qualified friends to an open house.
Because of the number of League Cadets that moved up we need
to increase those numbers.
Please think of any qualified 10-12 year olds and have them
contact me.
MARKSMANSHIP TRAINING:
The next Marksmanship training will be held Thursday May 9th
which is the Thursday after drill.
You may bring in your own .22 caliber rifle if you have one.
There will be a sign up at drill or you can call me ahead of time to
reserve a spot. I will have Locally Arranged Training Authority
(Cadet) orders which have to be completed by your parent. If your
parent is not driving you to the range you must ask me for blank
orders at drill so that your parent can complete them ahead of time.
No exceptions.
Make sure you bring your six dollars (exact change), ID card and
health insurance information.
Congratulations to Cadet Victoria Dunker for earning her
Sharpshooter appurtenance at the April shoot and Cadet Joseph
Maslanka-Lugo for earning his Marksman ribbon with a 95, a 98 and a
perfect 100 out of 100.
That is a new Sullivans Division record.
